I have a Note II. After the Kit Kat update my e-mails (Optimum e-mail) no longer update...I've checked all settings that I can think of...the updates stopped about 20 minutes before the software upgrade. What's the fix?

I'm having the same issue, and have removed my email account, but when I try to add it, it goes to a white screen, then a black screen. I have done a soft reboot (pulled the battery out) and it is still doing the same thing. After a while I get the message box that Eamil isn't responding. do you want to close it? Wait /OK
I just got off the phone with Verizon and we had success by deleting and reinstalling my email account.

As of right now that's the correct answer. I'll let you know if that's a one time fix

I was able to add my email account back in after going into the settings and stopping the email app, then clearing the data and cache. Still not downloading my emails at all. I can log into my email account and see 17 sitting there.
