voice roaming

I received a replacement G2 phone when my original phone had issues with the screen flickering on and off. The new replacement is stuck in voice roaming 24/7  why is this? Also the colors are much worse on this new phone. Holding the two phones side by side, my original G2 has a bright white background, but the new phone is a dull yellowish color. I bought this phone for the amazing display, but this new phone sure doesn't look like my original. Can anyone help?
