Are you talking FiOS or DSL? You must first have a wireless router or modem/router combo.
You simply put the WiFi toggle on, then it will scan for your home network. After you find your network enter the password for that network and click connect.
You will then be using WiFi.
If you don't have a wireless router or modem router combination you will have to purchase a wireless router.
Your ISP will assist you on connecting your broadband service to the wireless router, or the maker of the router will help you.
