My droid maxx fell into a deep puddle of water just a few moments ago . Got it out as fast as I could but can't take battery out for the droid maxx what do i do?
While there is nothing you can do to guarantee it will work again, there are things you can do to increase the chances.
Dry it off as best you can with a towel or some type of cloth. Do not try to turn it back on. If it is on, turn it off as soon as possible to lessen the chance of shorting out the phone. Place it in a sealed plastic bag with a dessicant for several days. Something similar to THIS would work best. They are the little bags which come in shoes/electronics to keep moisture from them, but if you do not have ready access put the phone in a sealed plastic bag filled with uncooked rice.
Leave it in for several days before taking it out and giving it a try.

If you cannot find Desiccant, use Uncooked White Rice. If you go the rice route you want to put enough rice in the bag to completely surround the device on all sides
