NEW S5 UPGRADE LOST 4G SERVICE

Hi...so i just upgraded to the S5, and i love it BUT(and what a BIG BUT it is)...i am no longer receiving 4g service that i am paying for. My phone is constantly on 3g..ugh..I have tried all of the troubleshooting options, and nothing worked...even different sim card..can someone please help or will i have to return this phone?? Thank you.

Hi,

I just upgraded to Note 3 and have the same problem with no longer receiving 4G service. Tried all of the troubleshooting options also and nothing worked. My next step is to take it back to the VerizonWireless Store for help.

Are you able to connect to 4G if you are in a different area, or have you only been able to test in your current area? Do you know if anyone else is experiencing problems connecting to 4G?

Ah man...i hate that..i ordered mine from amazon, and i REAAAALLY don't feel like going through this aggravating process when i shouldnt have to do so in the first place..ugh...hopefully something can be done SOON to fix this issue bc we are paying for this service(4g).

Yes i have tested it in other areas, but it still only shows 3g...ugh..my husband also has 4g on his s4 sitting right next to me...i didnt have this issue with my s3 or any other phone..

Thank you for that information, kim122278. What is your zip code? If you go to Settings>More Networks>Mobile Networks>Global Data Roaming Access please select Allow access for all trips. While still under Mobile Networks, please select Network Mode and ensure that LTE/CDMA is enabled.

Hi..my zipcode is 29532 and i work in 29501..we have had 4g for years now with no issues until now..i have tried these options, but it still is on 3g.

My wife has a Razor, she stays on the 4LTE network. Our Zip Code 75218.

I have taken the same steps as kim122278 and still cannot connect to the 4LTE network.

PamelaF_VZW and AndreaS_VZW AndreaS_VZW, could the reason be I'm still on the unlimited plan? I have read that Verizon will downgrade network speed for all on unlimited plans.

Factory reset did absolutely nothing but make me more upset because now all of my pics and music and apps that I JUST put on this new device are GONE!! UGH..now I have to do all that over AGAIN!! Can somebody please resolve this issue??
