iPhone 5 vs Galaxy s4

Hello, so I realize this is the Android discussion so the answers may be skewed, but basically this is my question.

I am currently a flip phone user, who is not very good with technology. I've never really used any kind of smart phone other than when my friend lets me use his to search for something.

I am going to make the jump when I can upgrade as I feel it's definitely about time I joined the 21st century. I'm just not sure which phone to get between these two.

My friends have Galaxies so I like that I would be able to get help from them and I know I'd be able to do everything I want on it because my friend and I would use it similarly and he has no issues.

What I'm looking to do with it, is basically, check some sports scores, fantasy football, maps, email, pictures, videos, music. That's basically it as far as I know. I'd often be connected to wireless also if that makes any difference.

So my question is, which do you guys think would be easier and better for me based on what I'm looking to use it for?

Well for me I went from a Flip to a Black Berry to Android back in 2010 with the Droid X my first phone or Dip into the big end of the Pool sort of speak and I've never Looked back, I have used an iPhone briefly my cousins it was Cool but challenging.. And he told me most of the Apps you pay for he was thinking of switching to a Android till Sprint give him a Big customer appreciation check and of Course he bought another iPhone the i5..

Moving from my B.B. was really easy and I caught on fairly Quick.. once I learned some of the ins and outs and talked to members on here that had the phone or similar phones it helped me understand allot but I'm still learning as well you'll do that every Day. with any smartphone that you purchase..

The Best thing I can tell ya is just do your homework on both styles read the boards on here and maybe the ones on the Apple Forum ask more Questions if you need to or have the time to..

A  Note  to pass on you have 14 Days to basically do a Test Drive with any phone that you choose,  If the phone is not for you, you can return it you'll have to pay a $35 restocking fee and the next phone you choose you have to Keep if you have any issues with this second Device they can replace it  but only with the same Device..
