Is the Verizon Droid Razr Maxx XT912 locked to prevent using another carrier's SIM in the U.S.? Is it blocked to prevent use of another carrier's SIM outside the U.S.?

Hi MattFlash, that is a great questions and I would be happy to help! The good news is that all of our 4G devices would be unlocked and ready for use with another carrier, so the Maxx is ready to go. It should be unlocked for global use. However it might be old enough to one of the VZW phones that were still country locked meaning it can only be used on the Verizon Wireless network in the USA. The only way to test this is to put a SIM card from another USA carrier in the phone.
