So I was thinking about doing Verizon Edge in order to upgrade my iPhone 5 to a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (Preorder). My Dad did this with another phone and apparently he had to give them his current phone after receiving the new one. I didn't ask him the details but is this sort of like a requirement in order to get out your current 2 year contract? If this is the case am I just better off waiting until my normal upgrade? Because I really don't want to give them an iPhone 5 I could sell. It almost sounds like its just better to wait.
