Why does my Andriod lose its notification sounds

I got an Android Max a couple of month ago and everything was great. Then one day my email and text notification sound stopped working. I have been to two levels of Verizon techs. They sent me to Motorola techs after sending me two new phones. Motorola's second level of tech support seamed like they new what to do. They had me do things that I didn't know you could do. I had the phone opened into a text based system and reset all kinds of stuff. Problem came back. The tell me all they can do is send me another phone of the same model. That will be the fourth phone. If that is my only solution I will go to Sprint.

When you was getting the support did they mention running, system cache clears or to try Power cycling the phone sometimes or most of the time one of the suggestion will correct the issue you might give these suggestions a try if you have not. Already..

Yes. all that and more. Factory resets on several phones, cache cleaning. Created new google accounts, Ran in safe mode for several days. It always fixes the problem when you power down but it comes back. I didn't even install any apps other than my email accounts. One tech even had me install a log me in account so he could go in and control my phone. Problem is back.

Wow.! If you get a replacement and it has Jelly Bean on it Hopefully it will I would not let the phone update for a While this is what I've done on my Droid Maxx and I've had it since Feb. 12 or 13 of this year it has Repeatedly tried to get me to update but I keep pushing it off my, My Droid Maxx is running fine with this OS

The last thing we want to do is lose you as a customer! Verizon Wireless is doing our best to honor and support Motorola's warranty. It sounds like we've really done everything as far as troubleshooting. The issue appears to be software related if you're experiencing it across multiple devices. I'm sure that Motorola is working on a software update for you. Do you know if you have any upgrade or early Edge options on your account?
