How come I do not get 4g service at my house?

Hello,

I am just wondering why I do not get 4g service at my house. This has been years long that I have not received 4g coverage at my house and I am able to receive the coverage about 5 miles away (near the mall). My zip code is 11767. What steps do I take to address this issue? I am getting a new phone through Verizon in which I just signed a new 2 year contract and I would like this problem alleviated immediately.

bzinke29 Let's get your 4g up to speed! We're not showing alerts in the area. What phone do you have now? Have you ever had technical support file a ticket for the 4g coverage issues?

Have the same issue and Technical Support told me I was in the middle of a 4g area and it isn't an extended area. My zip is 28205 and it's becoming really frustrating because I live alone and I do not have a house phone so there is no way for me to troubleshoot the issue while it is happening...I pay VZW too much money not to be able to utilize all the features of my Note 3 while at home.

c.monique_esp, let's make sure we figure this out. To be certain, do you only have issues with the reception at this location or do you have troubles everywhere that you go? Is the reception made better or worse when indoors? Outdoors? Have you ever had service within the home?

I only have the issue with reception in my home. I have 4g service out in the parking out of my apartment. I have 4g service when I'm at school half of the time. The reception is awful in my apartment and I only have 4g service in my bedroom and no other rooms at all.

Only thing is that you will not be guaranteed service inside of any structure. When I first switched to VZW 4 years ago I didn't get service inside my old house. It's just the was it is.
