The other day my usb port on my S3 started smoking like it was about to catch fire. I unplugged it and let it cool off and immediately filed a claim through Asurion ( the insurance provided through Verizon.) My claim was easy to fill out and I got a like new, refurbished phone two days later.
BUT ONE PROBLEM!!! The new phone SUCKS!!!
It takes three times as long to boot up. It has a noticeable lag on every operation that I try to perform on the phone. The 4G LTE is so slow now that it's virtually useless. I use my phone for everything and I'm really ticked off that I had to pay $10 a month for years plus a $100 deductible to get a phone that works like it's ten years old.
