Cancelling service..15 days from activation or order date?

I have a simple question. Do I have 15 days to cancel my new contract from the date I ordered or the date I received and activated the phone? I have two iphone 6's that were shipped to me and am wanting to cancel my service. I am not a "service hopper", I have had Verizon for several years. For whatever reason, my service is terrible now where I live. I think it has to do with a cell tower that was recently placed about 700 yards from my house. I am not going to pay 150 a month for two lines if I cant use them in my home. How long do I have to cancel, 15 days from activation or 15 days from the original order date? I have contacted them about this and their technical team is looking into it. I'm sure the result will be it shows nothing wrong. Something has changed as its been this way for a few weeks, even prior to the new phones.

Unless VZW has changed it they count the 14 days from the day they shipped...not the day you receive. I never thought this was a fair practice as it takes away from your decision time to keep or return but for whatever reason that's how they used to count it. Hopefully that's no longer the case

Just take it back as soon as you got them. I believe it supposed to be from the point your received them. Also it's 14 days not 15.

thanks. Yes, I read it was 14 days. I don't know why I put 15. Actually Ive had the phones about a week. I hate to cancel because I know it will probably be a big fiasco, but I cant be dropping calls left and right. I think it has to do with the new tower. No one can seem to answer anything about it though as I guess its top secret info. I was told the tower would be used by Verizon and "the other big carrier", but apparently its not helping me or I'm too close and its hurting me.
