I'm not receiving texts and people aren't getting them

Does anyone know how to fix this? I have been trying to contact customer service but it is always busy. I have a Droid Razr M. I have not been getting texts from people and people have not been getting my texts. I use the messaging app that is installed on the phone. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you for any help!

Someone on Android central reported he/she fixed the issue by disabling the verizon messaging app (even if you're not using it as your default messaging app) in app manager. He/she was using a different phone than you, but given the issue his/her fix will probably work for you.

Go into settings, go to app manager, scroll to all, click on Messages+, click the disable button, restart your phone.

Report back and let us know if it resolved your issue. Verizon rep(s) if this fix works for azelmed you should report down the pipeline that Messages+ causes problems for numerous people texting on numerous phones, and should be patched as soon as possible.
