Have no service and verizon said i have to keep my phone

the store told me i would should be find for service, get to my house and it goes into roaming. I called verizon and they tolod me to take roaming off. Now i get no service at all. Called again and they said they cant do anything about it. So i wanted to get rid of my phone but they said i would still have to pay the cancellation fee. I asked why, they said because they can see i get no coverage. I was not told that though in the stores. They said i would have to keep my phone even though i get no serivce and am paying this kind of money. What else can i do

Have you had the phone for more than 14 days? If so then yes...you're stuck with it unless you want to pay the Early Termination Fee. Unless you were just talking about the restocking fee, which yes...you would have to pay that. I'm not sure if you have any other options except maybe a network extender

I feel for you in this matter but there can be no guarantee of signal
in any one's area. The signal map in the store or on-line is only a very rough average of signal strength. The signal level can change from many things and at any time. Leaves,rain, location from a tower the way an antenna is directed and far too many things to cover here. First see if your current plan will cover Roaming for free, if so you will still have some signal to work with and keep your plan. If your paying for Roaming I would take back the phone if you are still in the 14 day time window and pay the small fee, around $35.00 or so. Find a new service that is working in your area by checking with those in your area you know that have phones. Hope you find your correct anwser to this. good luck
