Early termination fees

My boyfriend and I are on his fathers plan, and would like to take our lines and move them onto our own plan. His upgrade he believes is July 30th, 2015 and mine is February 28th, 2016. Does anyone know how much this would cost? Also, how much it would be if we wanted to get new phones, but keep our existing numbers?

You would do what is called an Assumption Of Liability and that won't involve any ETFs. However whoever is going to have the new account in their name will have to have a credit check and could have a security deposit of up to $400 per line. This would be also true if you cancelled our lines and re-sign with Verizon. The ETF for both would be $470
