Verizon Edge only for specific phones?

So, I have 3 lines on my account that are all on the edge and were able to get any phone with edge.

I am trying to edge one of my lines and I am told I can only get the Droid Turbo. I DO NOT want the turbo. And I also don't like being told what phone I can or can not get. It has been nothing but a hassle with verizon this past month. First cancelling an order with no reason given. I am fed up with this so called customer service. I pay for the service. I decided to be a verizon customer. I do not deserve to be jerked around and told what I can and can not do with my own account.

There is a promotion right now for the Droid Turbo and if any of your lines are eligible for that it's going to want to push that more then anything because it is an awesome phone. It's got a 21MP camera I mean really?! Thats amazing it's better then the Windows Icon and any other phone Verizon has to offer right now. If you absolutely don't want the Droid Turbo call Customer Care and have them place the order for you or go to a store.

I have tried. It says it only has a promotion for that line for the turbo.

When did you start these Edge plans? Have you met the 50% or 60% threshold to Edge up?

Since it says that you would have to wait until that goes away to get another phone other then the Droid Turbo.

I know but that is ridiculous that I am told what phone I can and can not get. I was trying to re-order the iphone 6 for a certain line after they decided to cancel it last week.

I am actually trying to add one line that is not on edge to edge.

I was just stating I have never had a problem ordering any phone I wanted on edge.

I understand what you mean, is it giving you the same issue ordering the phone on a 2-year contract?

4 Lines on family account, all with same b-day. Wanted to early edge up and told only one of the lines could be upgraded with any device, the other 3 could only be upgraded to the Turbo. Spent prob 3 hours total with 2 different csr and still haven't found out what gives. Wish someone could give me an intelligent answer. Don't want to switch service but I'm not happy with being told what I can upgrade too

So when did you start edge? if you reached the 50% or 60% level then it's bill if not then as I said they can make the terms
