How can I upload my old text messages to Integrated Messaging?

I recently started using Verizon Integrated Messaging around a month ago and am now upgrading my phone (that has text messages for the last two years). Normally I could just take all my texts and send them, Android to Android via Verizon Cloud or a 3rd party program. However, I'm going to iOS from Android so those options aren't available (for reasons that still elude me...). In any case, I plan on using Verizon Integrated Messaging on the new iPhone since it seems to be a better option than iMessage. So, it would be awesome if I could upload all my old text messages to Verizon (which I saved via the Verizon Messaging app via the 'Backup' option), either to the website directly or my iOS device, or even directly from the old phone. But, that doesn't seem to be possible and I don't understand why - if I can restore old messages in my phone, why can't I restore them to the Verizon server? Any help would be appreciated - thanks!

First, be sure you don't activate iMessage on your iPhone or else messages to other iPhones will not show up in Verizon Messages.

To get your old messages onto your new phone, simply install the Verizon Messages app on your iPhone. Once installed, it will initially run a sync to sync all of your old messages. Depending on the amount of messages you have, it can take some time. Once complete, though, all of your old messages will be on your new phone. Of course this will not include any messages you had prior to first using Verizon Messages on your old phone.:smileyhappy:

Yes, like I said I only added Verizon Messages a month ago - how can I get

all those from before (which I backed up using Verizon Messages) onto the

As I said previously, "Of course this will not include any messages you had prior to first using Verizon Messages on your old phone."

Verizon Messages will only sync messages which have been sent/received SINCE you first enrolled in it. It will NOT do so for messages from BEFORE.

You could restore older messages to your phone with an app such as SMS Backup & Restore, but they won't be on Verizon's servers to access from other locations such as desktop/laptop/tablet.
