I have been having data connection issues with my note 3 for a while now.  I will have a 4G connection only one bar though in Topeka and the download speed is slow.  During my drive on south 75 I will drop calls almost all the time even though I had a full bars when making the call.  It's very frustrating since I traded in my Motorola RAZR Maxx HD and it's reception wasn't great but much better than this one.  Also reception by and in my house is normally only 1 maybe 2 bars and it was a lot better with my old phone.  I have tried safe mode, factory reset, and reinsert in the Sim card but it never improves please help.

Newer phone does not always mean the reception is going to be better. I have seen many times the reception go down. With another phone your reception is set to go up or down. As for expecting better results with a new phone is not always the case. And reception is always decided by two things. How good the phone is at getting reception and also the location of the towers on your drive home. Sorry but changing phones will never be something that improves reception. I hope the get better reception better for you and your drive. But the phone having not as good of reception is not something a new will always improve on.
