I get paid on the 15th of every month and have for many many years. I pay ALL my bills on the 15th. The first thing I ask when signing up for any service is to have my due date on any day between the 15th - 20th of the month. The Verizon rep I talked with, after deciding to go with Verizon, told me that the bill would be due the 10th, but I have a grace period and if I pay the 15th I would be fine. Fast forward 5 months or so and I'm still seeing late charges on my bill. I finally decided to find some time and figure out why, after being told it was ok to pay on the 15th, that I was being charged a late fee. So I call customer support. The lady on the phone was helpful, said that I shouldn't be getting this late fee and that she would take care of it. Fast forward a few months again: still getting the late fee. I call today and am told that my grace period is 4 days. I have to pay by the 14th. ...Wait a second, this totally contradicts everything I've been told up to this point. The only way to fix it? To push my date forward and receive about 3 bills at once in 60 days ...or something like that. WTF?!? I had been with Sprint for many years prior to Verizon and the only issues I EVER had with them was their lack of phones. Which is why I came to Verizon (wanted Nokia Icon). Now within as little as 6 months I have had more headaches than ever experienced with Sprint. Not to mention I have some collection agency sending me mailings and calling me saying I owe you guys $290, yet when talking with the latest Verizon rep they see nothing. What the hell is going on with my account and how are you going to resolve this? I am an extremely unhappy customer right now and will not be bringing my family onto this plan as of now. This is ridiculous.
