This company is pathetic. My iPhone gets stolen. Since the "lost my iPhone" feature does not work if the phone is turned off, my brand new iPhone 5s was gone and not even the police could help me get it back. I thought that since I'd been a loyal customer for so long, that Verizon would be able to help me out. I called and was transferred between customer service reps FOR AN ENTIRE HOUR (I have the call log to prove it) just for them to tell me that they cannot help me. What a waste of time and money. One rep told me that they would make an exception for me and allow me to participate in the Edge program. Well after I told them I didn't have a phone to give them in return (duh, my phone was stolen), they told me never mind, they can't do it. What a joke. After 10 years of being a Verizon customer ($120+ a month for 120 months= over $14,000 I've paid them) they can't even allow me to pay full price over the course of time for a new phone?! I work in customer service and I will surely use this company of an example of how NOT to treat loyal customers. I will be switching to Sprint who will by out my Verizon contract and give me a lower monthly bill with a discounted upgrade to a brand new iPhone. I will make sure I tell all my friends to do the same. Sincerely, A lost customer.
