someone else using my number?

I recently received a call from a 'restricted' number claiming my phone is calling them and leaving brief static filled voice mails.  Is there a way for me to audit outgoing calls associated with my wireless number?  Can someone else really be trying to use my account somehow?  I'm concerned about cost/privacy issues here ( if I get charged for this activity and/or if they can monitor my conversations ).  How can I investigate this further?

That's definitely odd M712. We don't share your information with anyone else, so there is no need to be concerned. You can certainly review your call history on My Verizon.

1-Log into My Verizon

2-Scroll to 'My Usage'

3-Select 'View My Usage'

4-Select Minutes and access the lines' details.
