I upgraded to a data plan recently and one of us does not have wifi yet. I assume they are using data to text. I read somewhere you can text normally and not with iMessage and it does not take data. Is this true? If you need wifi to text on an unlimited text and talk..it isn't truly unlimited..I have tons of questions...but just being able to answer this question and not be nervous about data overages would be a good start. How much data does texting use? I turn off cellular on my phone and my husbands. But the third person must have theirs on to send a text. Any way around this?
