So today I sent my mother to pick up a phone from one of the non corporate Verizon stores. Over about 4 hours the employees not only managed to not get the new phone working but insult and demean her to the point she showed up at my work crying. I get that customer service doesn't matter to Verizon. A email address isn't even provided for complaints. Instead a public forum is used. A place I don't think is appropriate to list the names of the employees who spent hours telling an old woman that it wasn't the technologies fault (which it was) it was her fault for being old and not a smart phone user. I have been with Verizon for years. I paid for insurance through that particular store because I was told I would receive a new phone if mine broke in a timely manner. I am very upset and never want to go to that particular store again. Is there a way to transfer my insurance to a new store?
