Service quality has dropped dramamtically over last 6 months in my area... why?

I have an LG G2- fairly new. updates all updated...etc.  Wireless and 3/4 G services has been getting progressively worse - 80% of the time my phone is now in roaming - in turn drains my battery- was fine in the past.  I have been a customer for many years and concerned I will have to cancel and go elsewhere. This problem extends from 42164 (Scottsville, KY) to 37027 (Brentwood, TN) -Metro Nashville...
