Why am I not receiving Tango notifications on my Moto X. When I open the application, it says that I missed a call or the chat head pops up...hours later after a call. Why is there notification on the home screen/toolbar of this?

It actually doesn't show a notification (T) on the active display or toolbar. If I hadn't actually gotten into the application would I have known I missed an attempted call. This has been happening repeatedly for the last few days.
