Home signal strength decreased in 1 day - Verizon says nothing can be done.

Some time ago, our cell signal was weak at our home.  After calling Verizon and complaining, some change was performed that improved the signal.  Now (a couple of years later), we're having the same problem, however Verizon has told us that there is nothing they can do to improve signal strength.  I don't understand how, if our cell phones (iPhone 5) have more sensitive antennas, that our dependability on Verizon signal is worse?

Unless something is wrong with the tower in question there isn't much Verizon can do. You do realize there are rules and laws that limit the broadcast strength of towers? And in most cases even if they could increase the limit they would most likely need permission. Good luck getting the bureaucracy to handle that request in a timely fashion.
