problem sending text only messages. any help?

I am having a problem sending a messages to one of my contacts. they can text me, but i cannot text them. I can send then MMS messages and call. They are on the Sprint Network. they have this problem only with someone on verizon, i am hoping to get this resolved quickly.

Hi ModestMoose - Let's make sure we keep you connected with your friend! Is your friend unable to receive texts from any Verizon Wireless user? When did this start? Does the message show sent from your device?

The problem started when she started getting service through sprint, about three months ago or so. And it tells me that it cannot send the messages. And its every Verizon user that she's tried to receive texts from.

Thank you for the details. Has your friend attempted to contact her carrier? Given that she is having issues with receiving messages from all numbers it may be on her end.

She has, and I have tried talking to a Verizon representative, and the rep told me that its on her end, and they told her that it was on the Verizon end of things. So that was going in circles. I just want to make sure that its not on my end.
