I have an iPhone 5 bought directly from ST that uses verizon towers. Can I switch it to verizon as well as my families' phones and save with the family plan?
I would think it would be possible, if it's already using Verizon towers. May have to get it flashed or whatever, which I don't think Verizon would do for you. I have noticed Verizon employees are hit and miss on answering questions, but maybe they will answer yours.

I have heard people could actually put their CDMA phone on Verizon, but Verizon just wont do it. But that was phones from other carriers all together. I can see your point though I guess. Boost mobile runs off sprint towers and they wont let you bring a boost phone to them. SO maybe Verizon would be the same way. You could always sell the iPhone 5 on ebay or something and throw some extra money with what you get from selling that phone and come to Verizon. The $400 deposit (if your credit isn't too awful bad) isn't too much of a pain to pay. You get it back if you meet their criteria in one year, on time payments, etc.
