$100 off tablet

I got and email saying I could get $100 off a tablet. I see no restrictions but I can't use it online like Iwould like to. And when I call cs the tablet prices goes up $100. Question is how can I use it online and why does the tablet price go up with cs

Manual online sales and the Sales Department have always been two different prices. No, it doesn't make sense, but not much about Verizon does anymore. That said, be sure to read the small print. You will need to sign a contract requiring the use of a data plan.

I'm new here to Verizon I like it so far but this email $100 off is frustrating I see no restrictions no certain tablet. Here's the story I did it online I chatted twice and I couldn't use it cause it didn't have a promo code so she said I had to call, so I called and the first guy that didn't happen I seen the LG G pad used for $50 and called a second time I mentioned the email and the second guy said no problem which tablet did I want I said the LG G pad used one he said ok so we get to check out and it was $54 asked how I wanted to pay for this I said I have that email for $100 off he said " oh that's for an iPad" I said no it doesn't say iPad or certain price then he says the tablet is already discounted do you can't use it AGAIN this email never state which tablet or the price . So I hang up on him I was so irritated. Can someone from Verizon help. I Been here with Verizon for a month and so far I like it but this is very irritating.
