My wife and I have been loyal Verizon customers for a little over 7 years now and recently I inquired about upgraded to the iPhone 6. Ask a customer service rep. about the trade in program (as seen on tv) and was told no. That's for new customers only. Then also asked about the "edge" program and was told no you have to wait until you re-sign your contract. Hmmm. Well needless to say I shoped around a bit and had a good friend who recently switched to Sprint and went with the iPhone for life program. SOLD. UNLIMITED EVERYTHING: talk, text AND DATA. See we used to have that plan but once we re-signed our last contract that was taken away from us. So I guess my real question is what would be my termanation fee for 2 iphones w/ 4GB? Not that I'm too concerned since Sprint will credit me for the fee.
