I bought a Samsung galaxy s4 verizon unlockced smartphone at ebay. I want to get "pay as you go" plan (charged per minute and per text I use) for this phone. How can I do this?

To clarify what the rep was trying to pay you can only get the smartphone plan on pre-paid with a smartphone. you can only use pay as you go with basic phones.
