I ordered an iphone 6 plus at a company Verizon store on October 15th with a ship date of 10/31. On 10/31 at 5:30pm, we received an email stating the device wouldn't ship until 11/21.
1) Why even bother having company stores if all they do is place the order on verizonwireless.com??
2) Why would you commit to shipping 2.5 weeks out only to kick that commitment out 3 more weeks?
3) Why doesn't Verizon give a damn about making a customer wait 6 weeks for something that could be purchased at any WALMART within that time?
4) Why is it impossible to find contact information for Customer Service for "pre"-orders? Its not a PRE-ORDER if the phone is sitting at BEST-BUY, WALMART, SAMS CLUB, COSTCO, and every other retailer.
Sprint has a really good family plan available now. If the phone doesn't ship tomorrow, we know where we'll be going at 5:30pm. If nothing else, Verizon just sealed its fate for future pre-orders with this terrible reputation.
