Bluetooth on rapidly depletes battery

Phone RAZR HD

Since Jelly Bean I have had issues with the phone;

1. Not staying connected to WiFi.

2. Phone will get warm /hot

.3. Battery life is greatly shortened.

Turning the Bluetooth "Off" makes these issue go away but that isn't really a solution. Anyone else having these challenges?

I got the version wrong, the challenges started when KitKat installed. Currently running 4.4.2
