Paying $15 / month for this. Can not find anything on site that describes what it is, does anyone know?

BES is usually the acronym for Business Enterprise Server. This $15 is usually charged when you have a Blackberry connected to a corporate server to get company email. Sometimes it is charged for other smartphones and I think it is billed if you use Good for Enterprise.
That would be my assessment too.
