Out of contract More everything discount?

I have gotten conflicting answers to this question and would like to know what the true answer is:

I am currently on Nationwide 700 with 5 phones still under contract.

I have received the early edge upgrade to droid turbo offer for all the phones in My Verizon account.

I am going to do this with 3 of the basic phones I have.

The 4th phone I currently have is an iphone - I will keep that.

The 5th phone, I want to replace with an iphone I purchase for full price.

Now, i know the 3 edge-up phones will each receive the $25/month discount since i will be getting the 15GB data plan.

The question is on the Iphone still under contract and the Iphone I will own.

Do they receive any line access discount?

I THINK they will both get no discount until they are out of contract.

When they are out of contract, they will receive a month-to-month discount - is this $25 off or $15 off each?

Or. will they get NO discount, ever - this was a limited promotion that no longer exists.

I've been told all 3 values by different Verizon reps.

First...you need to be on the MORE Everything plan.

Phones lines that are month-to-month (meaning not under contract) can get a month-to-month discount. Any other lines cannot receive the discount unless they have a phone financed with an Edge Agreement. In this case, the discount basically off sets some of the phone's Edge Agreement cost.

The amount of the per line discount is based on the pooled data plan: 8GB or less is a $15 discount. 10GB or more is a $25 discount.

It seems Verizon does not automatically add the month-to-month discount. To get it, you have to go to My Verizon, Change Features, then add the discount to the line not under contract. The Edge Agreement discount does get automatically added to lines with said agreement.

yes, i never said i was going to move to the more everything plan, but I am.

so, the month-to-month discount is the same amount as the edge discount (15 or 25 depending on the data plan)?

That is what i was hoping, but have not been able to confirm.

I don't want this to be confusing to you. At the moment the month-to-month discount is $15/$25 off per smartphone line, dependant on the More Everything plan you choose to move to. This promotion is subject to change at any time.

In other words, when the 2 lines NOT under the EDGE payment plan are out of contract, the $25/line access fee discount may or may not be available. For lines out of contract NOW, you can get the discount.

I don't see any such option in "change features". What is it called?

If you are not seeing the "month-to-month discount" for the line you chose to change features, you are: a) not on the MORE Everything plan, b) still on a 2-year contract for that line, or c) have a phone on EDGE for that line.

Assuming the line meets all of these conditions:

1) is a smartphone (not avail for basic phs)

2) is on the MoreEverything plan

3) is off-contract

The FEATURE you are looking to add is called Month-to-Month Discount (or something like that) . Or call customer care and ask them to add the discount
