Hacked iPhone? Cant download apps while signed in

Im signed into iphone and app store (under settings) and my apple id displays as "grey" and can't tap to modify. This leaves me with no way to download any apps whatsoever anymore and I have plenty of memory/space on hard drive. Its like its hacked or something. Please help me resolve problem. Thank u

I'm a bit confused... so your apple id is showing up greyed out? Or does it show up as the word "grey?"

Assuming it is just greyed out, I am assuming its an old apple id, maybe one you don't use anymore. I would make sure that you don't have any apps on the phone that were downloaded by that apple id as a first step. It may also be just as easy to do a backup and restore of the phone.
