"Verizon" Store Location - Mt Nebo Rd, Pittsburgh, PA
My wife was looking for a new phone and I did a lot of research to advise her on the right phone to get. She went to this location to get her phone and I was very surprised to find that she was charged $100 more for her Iphone 5S than the price listed on the Verizon website. Basically charged her the price of an Iphone 6. They tried to hard sell her for the warranty which she declined, but I get the bill and there is the monthly charge for the warranty. She called the store to complain and got nowhere. I called Verizon Corporate and they confirmed that on the date she got her phone, the Iphone 5S was $100 less than the 6 but they could not correct because this store is independent from Verizon Wireless (note Z Wireless) and they can charge whatever they want for the phone. I called the store twice now and they called my wife with some excuse that they could not backdate a price match. A Verizon store needs to be told to price match the Verizon website?
This store use deceptive hard sell tactics and uses lame excuses when they are caught. Save your time and the frustration and use the Verizon website.
