New iphone 6 no receiving all texts and phone call straight to voicemail

I got this phone last friday, i thougth everything was ok because i been able to make calls, surf the web without problems and receiving texts from verizone and some friends.

Today a friend sent me a message by facebook saying shes been tryint to contact me since monday, she text me and try to call me but calls go straight to voicemail and i did not have any text from her, i tried everything i found here and on the web, not disturbing mode is off, i wipe the phone and re-instal everything from i cloud back up and without it, i reset the network settings i removed sim card, and i dont know what else to do, im able to text with some friends but not everybody, i turned off imessage, and with i message of i cant text everybody because says i message needs to be on to do it :smileysad:

Congratulations on your new iPhone, fermx! I want to make sure you are able to enjoy your service. I appreciate all the steps you have taken. Are you able to dial *73 to disable call forwarding? If so, please have someone try to call you to see if the call is sent to voicemail.

Is there a little moon next to your clock at the top of the screen? Is so, slide up from the bottom and and tap the moon to make it grey. This is Do Not Disturb.

I try the*73 and nothing, also no disturb mode is off, today i try text with a friend, she can receive my text but i cant receive hers, but with other friend no problem with sms, forgot to mention that i switch from sprint to verizon.

So i cant receive any phone calls and just text with some people, i have i message off

fermx, Let's get to the bottom of this, together. Is this only happening with one of your contacts or more? Does your friend have an iPhone, as well? Are the messages being sent via iMessage or sms text messaging http://vz.to/1BlZeBD? Are calls now being received from her? Please share a few more details for us.

Shut off your wifif. Turn the phone off and then back on and give it a few minutes

Its going on with more than 1 person, phone calls, nobody can call me all calks straight to voice mail.

Text, at first i was using i message but after i notice the problem i turned off i message and try text messages, they receive my message but i dint receive their, some have an iphone and some use other device but im able to receive messages just from some even im able to receive texts from verizon

Thanks for filling us in a bit more, fermx. Please go to Settings > Cellular > Enable LTE and make sure it's set to Voice & Data. Then power cycle the device, wait 60 seconds, and then make a call to #832. Once you hear your test call was successful, please have your friends that have been unable to call or message you try again. Please also double check that for any people that are still unable to call or message you that you go to their contact in your phone (Phone > Contacts > tap their name) then tap the Info icon next to their name or # and if it says "Unblock this caller" tap it to make sure it didn't accidently get blocked.

Thanks for trying, fermx. Are you able to place calls to these same people that can't call you? Did the phone you were using prior to your iPhone 6 get powered on recently? Make sure any previous devices are placed in Airplane Mode or powered down to ensure they are not miscommunicating with the network.

Im able to place calls with them without problem, the previous phone is off
