Can I purchase a prepaid phone and activate it on my contract plan?
No. Prepaid phones are locked by ESN/MEID specifically for prepay use. After a device is active on a prepay account for 6 months it can then be transferred to a postpay account. Of course the prepay account must be deactivated.
