We were just switch to the More Everything with 2 smart phones and 1 tablet, 15G a month data, plus insurance on 1 device ($8 a mo). My bill is $220 a month and I have been with Verizon for about 10 or 12 years. When they changed everyone's "Unlimited Data" plan that use to be truly "Unlimited" a couple years ago, that's when I should of left Verizon. Prices go up, and the representatives try and make it sound like "oh your bill will stay the same". My data service has certainly started to say "no internet connection" a lot more then it use to, and in areas that never lost service to begin with! I had bought a Apple 4g when they first came out, had it for almost a year.. and it broke.. and the representative didn't inform me that I was covered for a replacement (under warranty) (which I should of known) and so I got a Droid Razor M.
I have had it for 2 yrs, and it has been ok.. nothing exceptional about it... THEN of course it started its problems with the screen not coming on, the phone not powering on .. not keeping charged.. slow processing and a lot more crap. So I called up, they walked me thru the protocol steps. Long story short they sent another out, and I am sure it was not brand new but I wasn't charged because of my warranty. SO.. the 2nd Droid Razor M is performing the same way, I am having the same issues, my data service goes from 4G service to nothing, and stays at nothing but in the top corner it still says 4G and has bars showing. My contract is up in a month they should early upgrade me for free since I this is my 2nd phone with issues.
I keep seeing other carriers plans like for instance Straight Talk, and I am seriously thinking about dropping Verizon all together. I know about the charges that are due for cancelling and such, but I am not satisfied anymore. I understand that each carrier will have its issues, but its been a steady downgrade for Verizon. I am still investigating the pros and cons of each company. I do believe Straight Talk uses Verizon towers anyway.
Any advice? Suggestions? I have not seen nor heard of any benefits for customers who have been loyal (10+yrs and paid on time) to Verizon at all? I mean I know there are you customers out there with a lot longer time, but really seriously what benefits does Verizon offer?
Oh and this Reward Point thing you got going on? Really? Most everything on that deal the customers still have to put money out there along with your reward points before you get stuff?
OH heck well hope to hear some ideas.. thanks for letting me vent.
UNHAPPY Verizon customer #1million2-1 (laughs..)
