Constant service issues on my 5c

For almost a week now I constantly fluctuate with service on my 5c but Verizon says it's not a network issue so thinking a phone issue? I cannot make or receive calls most times nor send text messages. I go from 1 bar and 1x to 4 bars and 3G all while sitting in the same location. Suggestions?

meag16bair, Yikes! We can't have these kind of troubles. I want to make sure that you are getting great connection at all times. Have you been able to reset the network settings on your iPhone 5c? You can do that by going into Settings, General, Reset, Reset Network Settings. All of your personal information will stay in the phone. You will however need to re-enter in the wi-fi passwords that you have placed in the phone. Once you have completed this reset test out the network to see how it works. Keep us posted on the outcome.

Yes, they had me try that twice, I have tried removing the sim card twice to reset and have done a hard reset

Thank you so much for those great details. I would also like to check a few other settings real quick in the phone. If you go into Settings, Cellular, and make sure that Roaming for both data and voice are turned on. Also, make sure Enable LTE is turned on. If this still has some troubles, I would recommend to take the device into a corporate store location http://bit.ly/3SdsA and get the sim card replaced for free.
