I have had an IPhone for over 2 years. I have never gone over my data until a few

Months ago. I've tried to think of everything that is running my data up, but I can't find anything. I even took my husband and his phone off the plan and increased the data, and it's STILL going over! I use wifi as much as I can, and tremendously limit my usage while not on wifi. I have 6 gigs of data. Something is not right. Help!!! It's ridiculous... I shouldn't be even near my limit but month after month it increases, even tho my time on apps that would use data is limited. I'm so frustrated!

I am having the same issue ALL OF A SUDDEN just in the last month. I typically use 10gb and now this last month I supposedly used 30+gb. I've called, posted on the forums and have not gotten anywhere. I don't understand how I can go the past few years never using this much data but I switch to an iPhone 6 and upgrade my plan through a promo since it was free gb's and now I'm triple of what I normally use when nothing has changed on my end for usage.

First thing I would do to close in on the cause is to go to Settings>Cellular>and scroll down the screen. You will see a list of all the apps that can use cellular data, and switches you can turn on and off to decide whether or not to allow these apps to use this data. You will also see the amount of data they have used in the specified time period. This should give you some insight as to the cause.
