Moving to rural area - is MiFi sufficient for working remotely/VPN?

My husband and I hope to purchase a home in a rural area, but before we do, I need to ensure that I can have similar or same speeds on a MiFi device that I do with hi-speed Comcast/Xfinity internet.  I work remotely from home and the research I've done says it will be OK as long as I'm not linking a ton of devices or doing a lot of streaming (which I do not do at work) but before we bite the bullet on living in a rural area, I have to make sure I can work remotely.

We know we have to have a strong 4G signal wherever the house is.

Any input appreciated!

No way mi-fi will give you the same connection as wired. Not to mention smaller caps with high overages. if needing an internet connection is vital for work I suggest NOT getting a home in an area where you do not have access to cable or DSL. You don't mention what speed package you have with Comcast so hard to compare what the speed difference will be. There will be a difference in latency for sure.
