I have zero service at work and I mean zero not even an occasional bar . I work in the center of a old concrete building. Near the edges by windows (where i am no where near) you can get service. Is there anything that can be done about this?
nickt2085, I know the importance of having a reliable signal at work! Working in an area that is surrounded by concrete can definitely interfere with signal penetration. While we are unable to gaurantee service indoors, we do offer a Network Extender http://vz.to/IHRT6hfor Businesses to extend the Network signal in your office. Perhaps that would be a good option since co workers are able to receive signal by the windows. Does your service improve immediately outdoors? Yeah the second I walk out of the building I get full service and If i get near the exterior of the building I get some service. I actually left verizon because of this issue but all other services were just as bad. My work locks down our internet so I don't know if the network extender will actually work here or not. I now leave my phone in the car.
