Is there any way I can email Verizon to solve an issue? I'd be happy solving it on the forum but I rather not post my personal cell phone number on a public forum. Maybe they can look it up via my username? The issue I'm having requires me to talk to Tier 2 support and use a phone other than my phone. The issue with calling Verizon is I'm busy most of the day and having an opportunity to have a second phone to call off of is rare.
Anyways in case it can be looked up by my username here is my issue:
I live in Durant, OK. I have a brand new iPhone 6. My data and texting works fine without issue. The issue is calling out and receiving calls... here are the different scenarios:
1. On Verizon's network with LTE enabled. Outgoing calls immediately fail. Incoming callers get "all circuits are busy" message. Texting and data works fine. (Screen says Verizon LTE)
2. On Verizon's network with LTE disabled. Making an outgoing call will cause me to hear the all circuits are busy message. Incoming callers get it as well. Texting and data works fine. (Screen says Verizon 3G)
3. Off Verizon's network with LTE enabled. Same as #1. (Screen says Verizon LTE - even though I know I'm not actually on a Verizon tower).
4. Off Verizon's network with LTE disabled. Calling out and incoming calls work fine. Data and texting is fine. (Screen says Extended 3G)
I have been through Tier 1 support and done all of the normal steps of toggling LTE off, resetting network settings, etc. I was transferred to Tier 2 support but his computer wouldn't run the tests he said he needed to run. He said to call back but I haven't had time to call back yet. A few weeks ago I really needed to make a phone call while in Durant on Verizon's network. I was able to disable LTE and I repeatedly tried to make the call and eventually it went through.
Thanks!
