I upgraded my phone online, as it was eligible for an upgrade starting in 2013. I used the "upgrade at a discounted price" option. I received my new phone today and received three different sheets about recycling/returning my old phone. One sheet was "Important information regarding your edge order" telling me I had to ship my old phone back within 30 days, but I did not place an edge order nor am I part of the Verizon Edge program. Does that mean I can disregard this sheet and simply donate my old phone to HopeLine instead? I wanted to be 100% sure so that I'm not penalized with a fee for failing to do something. Thanks!
