When is Advanced Calling going to be available? The lack of simultaneous voice and data is getting irritating.

And it's January, and I still can't use data while I'm on a call on Verizon and Motorola's "flagship" phone. Will we be getting advanced calling, or did we get snookered?
Yes it will. Right now as per Motorola says the update is still in development.
Great. Do me a favor and supply a link for the Motorola announcement, because as far as I know, it's not a Motorola issue - it's Verizon pushing out the software to work on their network, just like they already did with the Turbo. Which, by the way, came out after the 2nd Gen X.
Go to their customer board. You'll find more information there than here. Also make sure you sign up for their soak testing as well as registering your device.
The Droid Turbo is a Moto X 2nd Gen on steroids. There's no reason this update shouldn't be available for the Moto X
