iphone 5c that will not turn on

I have a one year old iphone 5c. When I woke up this morning and took it off the charger it would not turn on. I tried to hold down the on button, I tried hitting the home button and the power button at the same time, and I tried to charge the phone on a different charger. Nothing seems to work. Is there any way to fix the phone or do I need to use my upgrade to get a new one
