I Have the Note 4. When I send a picture using Messages+ I receive a failure due to invalid destination.
Has anyone had this problem?
Hi Stephen0710!I'm sorry for any issues in sending pictures, let's get to the bottom of this. First, I'd like to gather some additional data. How are you sending the message? Is this happening on every picture you send or just a certain contact? When you say Messages , do you mean Verizon Messages? Please elaborate for me so we can find a resolution. I get the "invalid destination" when I've forgotten to fill in the To: field, so it's blank, OR I type the first couple letters of the contact's name, think I've added it, but it only picked up the letters I actually typed which is NOT a contact, hence "invalid destination ". Maybe that's what's happening?
Hello,
I am using the Verizon Messages + application on my Galaxy Note 4. When I
attach a picture I receive the following message "Invalid Destination
Address". I have had this happen when sending to my work phone which is a
Galaxy S5 on Verizon. Also my friend who has an iPhone 6 on Verizon and
another friend who I'm not sure the phone or service.
I also received the same error message when responding to a group text.
I hope this enough information to figure this out!
Regards,
Stephen Downing

Stephen0710, Thanks for these great details. I want to make sure that you are able to respond to group messages and send picture messages at anytime. Are you able to receive picture messages from your contacts? Have you ever been able to send a picture message with this device? I would like to try to reset the application. Here is a great link that will walk you through the steps on how to complete that: http://vz.to/1DYMLlQ Please keep us posted. KevinR_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
I cleared the cache as directed on the previously sent link, I am still
unable to send pictures via text. I verified before the cache was cleared
that I can receive pictures via text. I hope this helps to further diagnose
this issue.

Is Wifi turned on, on your phone? If so, turn it off and try again. Pictures and MMS Messages (one and the same) will only send over Cellular Data. Your phone can no longer auto switch between Wifi and Data thanks to the Kit Kat update
This has occurred both connected to Wi-Fi and not connected. To be sure I
just turned it off and try to resend the picture, I still received the same
failure.
Stephen0710, thank you so much for doing those steps for us. Can you please write down one of the contacts that you are having troubles with sending a picture message to. Then, delete that contact from your phone. Re-add them back into your phone with just the 10 digit number (don't add the 1 in front of the area code). Then try again to send a picture message to that contact. Please keep us posted.
I don not store contacts in my phone with a leading "1", all contacts are
stored with the 10 digit number.
