iPhone Apps Stop Responding

I frequently have issues with apps on iPhone 6 freezing. I have to shut the phone down and restart it. One example is the Messages app. I have done a complete reset of the phone and issues persist. Very disappointed with this phone. Do you have any suggestions for how to resolve this?

Here I am to save the day beauxzeaux! May I ask how much total device memory and available device memory do you have? Also, the device freezes only when you are in the messaging app? If so, I suggest deleting some of the long text message threads, reboot, and retest. If the total available device memory is low then you may want to delete some media from the device.
